Progress On the Inquiry into Television New Zealand Limited, New Zealand Post Limited, and Industrial Research Limited Chairperson's Expenses

On Friday December 19, the Auditor-General will deliver to the Speaker for presentation to Parliament his report in relation to expenses incurred by Dr Ross Armstrong during his terms as Chairperson of Television New Zealand Limited, New Zealand Post Limited, and Industrial Research Limited.

The time-consuming inquiry has involved extensive analysis, cross-referencing, and checking of more than 1200 separate transactions for expenses such as travel and accommodation, entertainment, communications, and professional services.

The Auditor-General will report on whether the expenses examined were properly incurred, and on any other relevant matters.
