Henry Broughton. Henry’s responsibilities include the arts, culture, heritage and sports sector, Māori Affairs, Canterbury Earthquake Recovery, and Crown Financial Institutions. He joined the Office of the Auditor-General in February 2009, initially on secondment from the UK National Audit Office. Before taking up the role of Sector Manager, Henry was a Senior Performance Auditor in our Performance Audit Group.

Before joining us, Henry led value-for-money studies for the National Audit Office and provided training for public audit offices internationally, including Russia, Turkey, Bosnia, and Latvia.

Henry has an Executive Masters’ degree in Public Administration from the Australia and New Zealand School of Government.
